La Charcuterie
6 DecWhile we ‘re designing logo for our school project, I’m always visiting websites for to see the best examples of visual identity.
The brand is ” La Charcuterie” , which is a deli/restaurant hybrid well known around Vancouver for serving up sandwiches filled with deli meats. To play off this, business cards were created to look like cold cuts. They were strung in netting similar to the way salami and other cured meats are hung in delis. Finally, they printed the letterhead and envelopes on butcher paper— the same paper they wrap their sandwiches in.

4 OctHow do you create a recognisable visual identity for an organisation with many different aspects? Utrecht City Theatre is a leading theatre in Utrecht and the central Netherlands. It is a place where artistic quality, cultural and community engagement, passion, adventure and skill come together. And that is exactly what the theatre wants to communicate in an open and accessible way so that it appeals to a wide-ranging group: visitors, performers and employees.
Edenspiekermann developed a custom typeface and logo based on the words excitement and reflection. Applied in a clear, accessible house style, it gives Utrecht City Theatre a modern, self-assured identity.
